This special drama travels back in time to 1963 to observe just how Doctor Who was first brought to the screen. Actor William Hartnell felt trapped with means of a series of functions. The glass ceiling of it industry defeated wannabe manufacturer Verity Lambert. Both of these were to come across unexpected challenges and hope in the shape of a Saturday teatime drama. Allied using a team of people that were odd but vibrant, they went onto build the longest running science fiction show.
