As the Rwandan genocide against the Tutsis begins in earnest in1994, we are introduced to naturalist Anna. Anna is able to save the daughter of a colleague whose family was slain, and she brings her to Poland with her to help her recover. However, the woman returns to Rwanda to pay her respects to the graves of those she has lost. While working on My Nikifor (Crystal Globe) with her spouse Krzysztof Krauze (My Nikifor-KVIFF2005), she eventually completed this tough film on her alone.
