The story follows Jessica as she flees an abusive relationship and re-connects with her estranged foster father, "Chap," a rugged rancher who has a reputation for being rough around the edges. The group learns to trust again with the assistance of a gorgeous neighbor and discovers that there is hope and healing at the manger.
