The Laurels stop by the Hardys' flat, spoiling their plans for a nice evening there. While on their way home from getting ice cream, Stan and Ollie stop a shrewd woman from killing herself. The woman is unappreciative and threatens them if they don't take care of her. Trying to hide her from their husbands, they have a hectic evening.
