Ten years past a strange phenomenon named a"spacequake" devastated the middle of Eurasia, claiming the lives of at least 150 million people. Ever since then, smaller spacequakes plague the world . Shido Itsuka, a seemingly typical high schooler comes along with a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spacequake and learns she is just one of those"Spirits" who are the real cause of their spacequakes that occur when they manifest themselves in the earth. He is recruited to use his mysterious ability to secure the Spirits' powers thus stopping them. There is actually a catch: to seal a Spirit's power, he needs to make her adore him and kiss him.
