On 28 December 1999, New York City's citizens are getting prepared for the turn of the millennium. That the Devil decides to crash the party by inhabiting the figure of a man coming to the city, and searching because of his preferred bride -- a 20-year-old woman called Christine York. The planet will soon end, and the only hope lies within an atheist called Jericho Cane.
