In an effort to prevent Grindelwald's plans of raising pure-blood wizards to subjugate all non-magical beings, Albus Dumbledore enlists his graduate Newt Scamander, that agrees to assist, though he's uninformed of the dangers that exist in advance. Lines are drawn as love and also loyalty are tested, even amongst the truest loved ones, in an increasingly separated wizarding world.
