Subsequent to her mother's arrest, Ramona, young Vanessa Lutz decides to go searching for her grandmother. On the way, school advisor Bob Wolverton gives her a ride. Throughout the travel, Lutz manages to flee by shooting him a couple times and begins to appreciate Bob may be the notorious I 5 Killer. Wounded but still very much living, Bob pursues Lutz over the country in this contemporary retelling of Little Red Riding Hood.
