After years of eluding the authorities, Hannibal now lives comfortably in Italy as an art expert. When he is identified, he causes more havoc, killing a few deserving people in the process. He goes to America to make contact with now-disgraced FBI Agent Clarice Starling, who is facing the wrath of a vengeful FBI competitor as well as the press.
