Two humans previously not known to eachother are transported to the entire world Pluke from the galaxy that was Kin-dza-da because of chance encounter with an alien teleportation apparatus. They need to come to grips with a language barrier along with Plukian social norms (and of course that the laws of time and space ) should they ever hope to return to Earth.
