Josh, the Primms' young son, has a hard time making friends and adjusting to a new school in New York City after the family relocates there. After discovering Lyle, a singing crocodile with a penchant for hot baths, caviar, and excellent music, in the attic of his new home, everything changes. But when Mr. Grumps, the wicked neighbor, threatens Lyle's life, the Primms must work together to prove that blood ties don't have to be blood-related.
