Chanachol, recently returned after living overseas, finds himself brought to the tour guide, Mekhala, and signs up to get back in touch with Thai civilization. There are several issues with the relationship: Chanachol is wed, with family, and Mekhala includes a mysterious, symbiotic relationship with a deadly cobra, and several of her suitors have become dead.
