Navy Lt. Tom Farrell meets a new woman, Susan Atwell, plus they share a fiery relationship. Farrell finds out his superior, Defense Secretary David Brice, is also associated with Atwell. When the woman appears dead, Farrell is put in charge of the murder investigation. He starts to uncover clues however when information on his encounter with Susan surface, he also becomes a suspect also.
