Inundated by her schedule, vacationing European princess Ann will be taking away for a night while in Rome. When a sedative she obtained from her doctor kicks in, however, an American reporter, Joe Bradley, who chooses her back to his flat to get safety falls asleep on a playground and finds her. At the office Joe realizes the regal individuality and bets of Ann his editor romance soon gets in the way, although they will get meeting with her.
