Kitano plays with a Tokyo yakuza exhausting of gangster living, Murakawa. Together side a few of his henchmen, his manager sends him Okinawa to help end a gang war to mediate between two warring clans. He finds that the dispute involving the clans is insignificant and also Murakawa's headquarters have been bombed and he and his gang have been left handed in a pub whilst wondering why he has been shipped to Okinawa at all.
