After serving 28 years in prison for killing the son of a crime supervisor, newly paroled gangster Val reunites for a night on town. Since the three men revisit old haunts, think in their glory days and try to compensate for lost time, one wrestles with a terrible quandary: Doc has requests to kill Val, and time is running out for him to find a way from his dilemma.
