Tamara Hayes, an entrepreneur whose business and relationship are both falling apart, goes to her family's apple orchard to get away from life for a while. She starts to like Will Lewis, her best friend from childhood who is now the farm manager. Together, they go to great lengths to keep the orchard alive. Will's gentle encouragement reminds Tamara that home is worth fighting for, and when she tells him her secret apple pie recipe, he's inspired to try one more time at a "million dollar idea."
