Louie De Palma can be just a cantankerous taxi dispatcher in New York City. He attempts to keep order over a selection of varied and strange characters that drive for him. As he supposes and insults them by the security of the"cage," that they develop a unique bond among men, becoming friends and supporting each other through the inevitable trials and tribulations of life.
