Overview
When NATO soldiers left Afghanistan, the Afghan National Army (ANA) seized leadership of Helmand Province, a perilous territory rife with Taliban attacks. Security, let alone peace, appears elusive; finding a common language in a country where everyone distrusts each other is even more difficult. The filmmakers spent a year in Helmand with an ANA company. Soldiers are paid inconsistently, supplies are few, and their equipment is inadequate. They are unable to fight a war with the ISAF's equipment.
