A disaffected American-Nepali half Hindu-Muslim boy detours to Kathmandu on his way to join the ongoing war in Syria, but his battle with a local don who murders his grandfather teaches him to pursue a far greater purpose in life, and in the process reconnects him with his Himalayan roots, culture, and traditions, which he had forgotten.
