Once a rising star of the rodeo circuit, and also a horse trainer, young cowboy Brady is cautioned that his riding days are over, after a horse hammered his skull at a rodeo. Back home on the Pine Ridge Reservation, with minimal desire or alternatives for another way Brady's awareness of inadequacy mounts as he could be unable to ride or rodeo -- the essentials to be a cowboy. In an effort to recover control of his own fate, Brady Requires an investigation for new identity and what it means to be a man at the heartland of America.
