This film was made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the publication of the book in 1967. This stunning film, which was shot entirely in Romania, including in the actual prison where Pastor Wurmbrand was tortured and held in solitary confinement, tells the narrative in a way that no other film has done before: through live action rather than interviews.
