In the 1950s, British authorities Tony Aaron resigns from the force after sleeping wife of the man whose house he was designed to safeguard, with Hazel. In his new endeavor as a bogus private eye, he also helps couples receive divorces by photographing Hazel with"affairs" with husband. Tony begins with an affair with the dead man's mistress, Angeline, while trying to show his innocence when she is murdered during a job.
