Linus is persuaded to run for school president as the school election approaches. With Lucy and Charlie Brown as his campaign managers, and Snoopy and Woodstock on his side, he has a good chance of winning. However, he soon makes unrealistic promises and discovers the hard way that shouting about the Great Pumpkin is not a viable campaign approach.
