Overview
Biographic picture of the witty, over-achieving, hottempered Rudy Giuliani, crossing from his rising days as a New York district attorney while in early 1980s into his marriage to part time celebrity Donna Hanover, to his candidacy for mayor of New York City and his contentious methods to attack the town's offense and metropolitan difficulties, in addition to his love with his assistant Cristyne Lategano that lead into the failure of his marriage, to his own fight with prostate cancer, all leading up to the dreadful day of September 11, 2001 that Guiliani himself narrowly escaped death after suicide terrorists hijacked and crashed two passenger airliners into the twin World Trade Center towers resulting in their meltdown in which Guiliani's toughness and lively nature help calm the town's inhabitants to confront the chaos on that day that made him a hero.
