Texas is a spinoff of Another Universe. It was co-created by thoughts authors John William Corrington, Joyce Hooper Corrington, also executive producer Paul Rauch of Another Universe. Rauch would hold the title of executive producer before 1981 to get its own particular spin off and the parent show.
